Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.

This synopsis/solicitation NC-NJ5000-23-00484 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS) has requirements for hull repairs and bottom paint renewal on the NOAA Navigation Response Team – New London vessel, NOAA hull number S3007.

The Period of Performance will be 30 days of work beginning at the date of award. The Place of Performance will be at a location agreed upon between both parties in FL- see SOW for more details.

The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing with a business size standard of 1,300 employees.
