Description

US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) – Omaha District has prepared a solicitation and intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to be solicited 100% competitive, strictly for a commercial supply item. The contract requires the supply, and delivery of 30,000 tons of quarried stone to be loaded onto government owned barges at one or two locations equaling a total of 60,000 tons on the Missouri River. The stone must meet specific quality requirements identified in the Statement of Work pertaining to bulk specific gravity, soundness in Magnesium Sulfate, and soundness in freeze/thaw. The contractor must identify the delivery location(s), make any adjustments necessary for improvement, and provide all material handling equipment and qualified operators. The government mayaward the contract to one or two contractors, based on the evaluation criteria. The evaluation will include all additional expenses incurred by the government for transportation to and from each contractors proposed delivery and loading location.
