Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) requires pipe and complete compression couplers with associated fasteners and seals to repair a pipeline. 400ft of 24-inch pipe is required to repair a section of pipe within the Wapatox project. This specific section of pipe has deteriorated over the years and has a significant leak. Water is required to run through this section of the Wapatox project on April 1st, 2024.

This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a Small Business Size Standard of $45 million. The product service code is 4710: Pipe, Tube and Rigid Tubing.

Reclamation intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1724Q0032, (written) is approximately the fourth week in February 2024. The anticipated closing date is the fifth week in February 2024. The anticipated award date is the first week in March 2024, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of the solicitation. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site.

This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
