Description

This section describes work that will be required under this contract.

This solicitation is for Enhance Equipment portion of the Program Request Similar to CAT Model #315 at Fort Simcoe Job Corps Conversation Center in accordance with the “Excavator Specifications”.

Must be within 100 miles of closest dealer for any short of maintenance or repairs needed; this
machine could be assigned all over the continental US but priority work will be with Region 6
(Washington and Oregon) specifically the Okanogan‐Wenatchee National Forest and Yakama
Indian Reservation. Also the purpose of this machine and its attachments is to be used for Forest
Service road repair/maintenance as well as on a fire line while training students. The machine
must meet all Fire specific OSHA safety requirements this is the only way the machine will be
able to work on a fire line.
