Description

Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for Internal Airlift/Helicopter Slingable Unit (ISU) Repair parts to make critical repairs to ISU containers supporting SEAL Teams and all NSW West Commands.  LOGSU1’s Engineering Department requires these parts and installation to make repairs IOT to provide a sufficient number of containers to each SEAL Team during each phase of their IDTC. The Government is contemplating a sole source award to AAR Mobility Systems [CAGE: 80298] for brand name repair parts for ISU 90, 90i, and 90 Gen-x containers, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Proposed contract action will be a purchase order for the identified items and quantities and not to exceed $250,000. Contract is planned to be awarded by 30 September 2022.

This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  The sole source justification will be posted under this synopsis after award.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 811310, and the small business size standard is $11M. 

This synopsis shall not be construed as an RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
