Description

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO), San Diego Field Office requires access to regional law enforcement databases called the Automated Regional Information System (ARJIS) and San Diego Users Network/California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (SUN/CLETS).  Together, the systems are collectively known as ARJISnet.  ARJISnet was created to share information among justice agencies throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties, California and has evolved into a complex criminal justice enterprise network used by 80+local, state, and federal agencies in the two California counties that border Mexico.

This is a noncompetitive contract action due to the fact that access to ARJISNet can only be provided by the following governmental entity:

San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG)/Automated Regional Justice Information System (ARJIS)
401 B Street, Suite 800
San Diego, CA 92101-4231

The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 922190 - Other Justice, Public Order, and Safety Activities.  The Small Business Administration does not establish size standards for public administration NAICS codes.

This contract will succeed an existing contract ending September 17, 2022.  It is anticipated that a 12-month firm-fixed-price contract will be established for these services covering the period of September 18, 2022 through September 17, 2023.  A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 16, 2022.  The anticipated award date is August 25, 2022.

Although this is a noncompetitive contract action, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

Questions regarding this acquisition shall be submitted to Eric Neckel at eric.r.neckel@cbp.dhs.gov.
