NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO ESPY CORP

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition and Relocation Management (FA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed purchase order to The Espy Corp, 13033 Trautwein Rd, Austin, TX 78737, for a teamSENTINEL HF Monitoring and Signal Detection sensor and equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102(a)(6), the Limited Source Documentation is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
