Description

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded Contract HSHQDC-15-C-00064 to Battelle National Biodefense Institute (BNBI)to continue to operate and manage the National Biodefense Analysis Countermeasures Center (NBACC) Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) that is located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. In addition, as specified in the Statement of Work in Section C of the contract, BNBI will also be required to provide a wide range of research studies, analyses, analytic and computational models, simulations, and other analytic support that is useful to policy and program planning management by its Sponsors.

DHS Contract HSHQDC-15-C-00064 is a hybrid cost-reimbursement contract consisting of Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) line items. The total estimated value of the contract (inclusive of all Award-Term Incentive Periods and options) is $480,569,435.56. At the time of contract award, the Government incrementally funded the contract through the initial obligation of $4,000,000 in FY 2015 3-Year Research and Development funds.
