Maintenance and Repair of Instrument and Laboratory Equipment

This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis to allow for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 811219. Offerors must also be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov per FAR 52.212.1 lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation which shall be considered.The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed type contract based on the lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror. all offers must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number. Maintenance to include the following:   Full service on-site support to include unlimited repairs, parts, labor, travel, technical support, prioritized service, and (1) One Preventative Maintenance (PM) per OEM recommendations with Calibration and Artel Verification. Routine service in accordance with OEM specifications; corrective repairs; OEM sponsored hardware and software updates and patch fixes. Limited coverage for rental/loaner devices or accessories when available from OEM sources. Coverage for all depot repairs and return shipping if applicable or recommended by the manufacturer technicians, POP date: Sep 29 2022 - Sep 28 2023.

Normal Working Hour Maintenance Coverage.

Maintenance Coverage shall be performed Monday thru Friday, between 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m.  The Contractor shall telephonically respond within__24__ business hours after receipt of notification of equipment failure, and shall provide onsite service within   48 business hours.  Equipment shall be operational within 72 business hours.  The Government reserves the right to deduct from the Contractor’s payment an amount per hour equal to the number of hours the Contractor fails to respond, *as listed above.
