Page 5 of 5 Solicitation Number: 36C24623Q0538_1 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: VA Pre-Solicitation Notice for VISN 06, Mechanical Room Floor Epoxy Service The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of Salisbury VA Health Care System, VA Medical Center intends to solicit a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business set-aside for a one-time mechanical room floor epoxy service for the W.G. Bill Hefner Veterans Affairs medical Center located at 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144-2515. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent, to solicit mechanical room floor epoxy, under a Firm-Fixed price contract. The VA anticipates issuing a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business award solicitation for this requirement. The VA will accept proposal from 04/12/2023 to 04/19/2023. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.SAM.gov from Contract Opportunities. Interested contractor will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractor about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offeror(s) are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the SAM website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Proposals will be evaluated for award after the deadline. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. There is an anticipation of a single firm-fixed price award from this solicitation, which will be made commensurate with the needs of the Salisbury VA Health Care System, VA Medical Center.
