Description

This acquisition is for Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for design and related services in support of general construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair, new construction of buildings, facilities, and real property for the NASA Western Regional Area of Operations. The contemplated contract will be procured in accordance with the Selection of Architects and Engineers Statute (Public Law 92-582, formerly known as Brooks A-E Act), 40 USC Chapter 1101 et seq., as implemented by FAR Part 36.6.

The NASA Western Regional Area of operations includes the Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) and the Ames Research Center (ARC) specifically; with (optional) back-up capacity in support of other NASA Centers and Federal Tenants at NASA facilities including the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA; Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex in Fort Irwin, CA; Edwards Air Force Base, CA, and the NASA launch alliance at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

This synopsis, 80AFRC23R0024, is prepared in accordance with NASA Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NFS) 1805.207-70, Synopses of Architect-Engineer Services and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207, Preparation and Transmittal of Synopses. This is not a solicitation or a Request For Proposal (RFP). This is a request for a Standard Form (SF) 330, Architect-Engineering Qualifications. All information needed for interested parties to submit a SF 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications, is contained in the attachments. There is no separate RFP package to download.   

This synopsis will be conducted under full and open competition procedures allowing maximum participation from both large and small businesses. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this acquisition is 541310 and $11 million respectively.
