Description

The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City has a requirement for Dedicated Internet Services to include including furnishing all engineering, labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and services to be installed and provided at the New Embassy Compound (NEC).

The Contractor shall provide professional-grade, Dedicated Internet Services, transported over fiber optic and delivered through individual fiber optic ports at the CTSEF, as well as Dedicated Internet access using wireless LoS, for the exclusive use of the U.S. Government.

The contractor shall be able to provide internet services, within a variety of speed categories and IP configurations available, without having to run additional infrastructure. The desired intervals for circuit bandwidths are 5 Mbps, 10 Mbps, 20 Mbps, 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 250 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1000 Mbps.

Service shall be available 24-hours per day, 7 days per week, and 52 weeks per year, and each one of the links must be “always on” with unlimited usage. Connectivity services shall include 24x7 help desk technical support capable of responding to requests in no more than three hours.

The availability of this circuit shall not be less than 99.9 percent over the contract period of performance.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be as long as it complies with the RFP requirements.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a single award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract with firm-fixed rates.

The Government is planning a Pre-Proposal Conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov  prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
