Description
This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, Solicitation 75H701-22-R-00037 for the Dustin Water Storage Tank Project #OK18-V41, a construction project for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Engineering Services. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 20 April 2022 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on https://sam.gov/. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Construction Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents.
This project will be advertised as a 100% Small Business set-aside with preference to Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE)/Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) firms under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237110 – Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of this project is to:
- Design and construct a 50,000-gallon elevated steel water storage tank with associated piping, fittings, valves, hydrant, and appurtenances to serve the Town of Dustin.
- Decommission, dismantle, and remove from the site the existing elevated steel water storage tank and appurtenances following construction and commission of the new storage tank.
LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed in the town of Dustin, OK.
TERO: TERO is not applicable.
CONSTRUCTION DURATION: Period of Performance is 270 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(g).
SITE VISIT: Details regarding the Site Visit will be included in the solicitation.
CONTRACT TYPE: The Indian Health Service intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in support of this requirement. This solicitation will be procured as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 36 procedures with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation criteria.
