Description

PROJECT: OR FLAP DOT 46(1), Oregon Caves Highway (OR 46) Restoration

Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve, Josephine County, Oregon

LOCATION:  20 miles E of Cave Junction, Oregon

WORK: This project consists of  grading, aggregate base, sub-excavation, drainage, paving, temporary traffic control, soil erosion control, and mechanically-stabilized earth (MSE) wall construction. See “Project Description” and preliminary plans for additional details.

LENGTH: 3.6 miles

TENTATIVE COMPLETION DATE:  Fall 2023

CONTRACT TYPE: Sealed Bid

ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: $3 million to $5 million.
