Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.  Requirement-Security Support Services: This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources from interested 8(a) companies for security services at Headquarters, Joint Interagency Task Force South, Truman Annex, Key West, FL 33040. The contractor, in accordance with the contract, will be required to provide all Security personnel to include, State of Florida D&G Licensed Armed Security Guards, Visitor Control Officers/Security Administrator, Security Screeners and Security Escorts. Contractor must provide Armed Guards with the following: weapons/firearms, ammunition, uniforms with company name and logo, and uniform accoutrement, law enforcement gear including ballistic protection vests and duty belts necessary to perform Security Support Services at JIATF-South. Some components of the Security Support Services maintain a 24/7/365 presence at the facility, capable of providing a deterrent against unauthorized, illegal, or potentially life-threatening activities directed against JIATF-South employees, visitors, classified information, programs, or property.  The contractor will also be required to send their personnel to the US Army Active Shooter training AR 190-56 or an equivalent training. Contractor must possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Facility Clearance.  Armed guards, visitor control, and security escorts shall possess a Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance and must be able to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartment Information clearance, however, at least one (1) TS/SCI cleared Armed Security Guard shall be on duty at all times (24/7/365).  Security screeners must possess a Secret or higher security clearance and will be required to be on duty at all times (24/7/365).  The two (2) visitor control officers must be TS/SCI cleared to carry out their scheduled duties. Government furnished items will include common access cards (CAC) and security badge, multi-band security radios, flashlights, and keys. NAICS Code 561612

This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not currently seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to these sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to these sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to these sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for additional information pertaining to these sources sought.

Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status and whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written capabilities statement, confirming they can comply with the government needs, as specified above. All responders to this Sources Sought Notice understand, by submitting this written statement, they are certifying they can meet ALL criteria.
