Description
This is a sources sought. No award will be issued from this notice.
The 410th Contracting Support Brigade is seeking to obtain support to provide bottled water in Haiti, within the Port‐au‐Prince International Airport grounds . The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide 3000 gallons of Bottled Water a day. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this sources sought. Performance Requirements are as follows-
1. The contractor shall source, produce and store bottled potable water at a rate of 3000 gallons of potable water per day for use within the Port‐au‐Prince International Airport grounds.
ADDED: Questions & Answers
Q: What size water will be delivered? For example, are you requesting 3000 gallons (about 25,040 lbs) of 5 gallon water jugs or are you requesting 3000 gallons of 12 oz individual water bottles? If 5 gallon jugs, do you then also need stand dispensers?
A: Bottled water sizes from 16oz-1l are acceptable, but 1L is preferred. If 5 gallon jugs are used, dispensers would be required.
Q: In terms of the storage of the water onsite, is there a storage location to be made available to the contractor under US control or will the contractor be responsible for sourcing and securing their own location onsite? If a storage location is Government provided, what is the size (square footage) of the location?
A: The contractor shall procure, distribute and store water onsite using their own equipment. The equipment would be stored at the airfield under US or MSS control.
Q: Would the delivery be on Monday through Friday ? or Monday through Sunday? What is the delivery time window?
A: Delivery is not required daily, however, contractor must maintain 15 days of supply of water on site.
Q: Are you wanting it in 16.9oz bottles, 1L, 1 Gallon Jugs or in Potable water 6000-gallon tankers? How long would this mission last?
A: Bottled water sizes from 16oz-1l are acceptable, but 1L is preferred. If 5 gallon jugs are used, dispensers would be required.
