Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division in Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) is looking to identify potential sources and requesting information pertaining to the availability of AN/USM-719 (P/N: 90000121, NIIN: 015652569) Domestic Obsolescence Upgrade kits and installs along with the procurement of -708 (P/N: 90000108, NIIN: 015412764) and AN/USM-719 (P/N: 90000121, NIIN: 015652569) CRAFT obsolescence upgrade kits and installs. The procurement will allow for the maintenance of the existing CRAFT AN/USM-719 system, to include tear down, evaluation, and repair.  This effort also includes the addition of production kits and installs necessary for a one-time mid-life Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for the modification and upgrade of the AN/USM-719 Ramp Test Set, which is a shipboard IFF variant of the CRAFT. Additionally, the scope will allow FMS to procure production kits and installs for both the AN/USM-719 and the AN/USM-708 CRAFT.

The Government is seeking industry input to assist in identifying features and approaches to meet the general requirements described above. Please note that the Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

Interested sources should provide this CRAFT information and related data to Paras Patel, paras.d.patel.civ@us.navy.mil, no later than 7 days (with the reference being sooner) after the post date of this RFI. All information sent should reference this RFI number on the subject response line of the emailed response as well as on all enclosed documents. Responses must include the company name, address, point of contact name and email/phone, and company size. Proprietary data MUST be marked on a page-by-page basis and will be kept confidential and protected where so designated. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. Respondents may provide information and Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROM) on any currently available product or a company's' capabilities that will meet the Navy's requirements.

Responses must be received no later than May 21, 2024 by 9am EST.
