Description
The purpose of this project is to install overhead protection for K9 training area at F146. Work will include, but is not limited to, installing footings, lightning protection, and the structure to support the metal panel roofing along with bird netting, gutters, and downspouts.
Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under the solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels the solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Please note the magntiude of this project is: between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW) to install overhead protection over the training area and turf. This Project is a design-build contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for a complete 100% design and for the construction of the design.
The period of performance (PoP) for this contract is a total of 312 calendar days. This project shall have three Notices to Proceed (NTP). NTP #1 will be for design submittals. The PoP for NTP #1 is 182 calendar days. NTP #2 will be for pre-construction submittals. The PoP for NTP #2 is 60 calendar days. NTP # will be for construction. The PoP for NTP #3 is 70 calendar days
The acquisition will be a total small business set aside for HUB-Zone certified. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 236220 and the applicable small business standard size is $45M. Any interested party may download a copy of the solicitation form this website once it has been released. Copies of the solicitation are not available for mailing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation.
