This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. Further in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to Federation Of State Medical Boards Of The United States, Incorporated. The Office of Diversion Control (DOD) has a requirement for 1 each of the following: Access to FSMB data to verify physician license status and summary disciplinary information in a real-time manner to support DEA online processing. Annual Subscription Fee and Estimated 35,000 transactions per month for the transactions. Federation Of State Medical Boards Of The United States Incorporated is currently the only vendor who provides data in a consistent, timely and electronic format which satisfies the critical data and electronic requirements of the DEA. The technology for the device was developed/manufactured by Federation Of State Medical Boards Of The United States Incorporated. As a result it has been determined that Federation Of State Medical Boards Of The United States Incorporated in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 is the only responsible source that will satisfy the agency requirement.
