Q1. Please clarify the amount of access control cards to be included in the bid. 

A1. Minimum of 500 cards to be included w/bid along with source for additional cards as needed

Q2. Please provide clarification on process of registering the solution as a Platform Information Technology (PIT) (3.1.5)

A2. FSS will be responsible for registering where applicable. Does not apply to the contractor.

Q3. Please provide AHJ contact information to allow for pricing of applicable permitting requirements.  A3. Per CES no permits required

Q4. Please clarify if conduit is required for low voltage cabling, as free wire was observed during walk through throughout the space. 

A4. Per CES electric, all wires should be protected in conduit

This is a solicitation for the purchase and installation of Door Access Control System for the Shark Lanes Bowling Alley at Patrick SFB, FL. This email constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

The solicitation number FA252122QB004 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this request for quote.

This is solicitation is open to all commercial businesses/organizations.

DESCRIPTON OF REQUIREMENT: The Air Force Personnel Center, Services Directorate (AFPC/SV) is seeking a Commercial-off-the Shelf (COTS) stand-alone solution to implement secure access to the bowling centers new gaming room.  The overall objective of the Gaming Room Access requirement is to provide unmanned secure access for all authorized military patrons, to include DoD civilians, retirees and dependents.  We are looking for an Air Force approved turn-key solution to provide all equipment and components, installation, and operational training.

EVALUATION CRITERIA/BASIS FOR AWARD.

The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor, whose quote is conforming to all solicitation requirements. The award will be to the most advantageousness of the Government. Price and other factors will be considered for award, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

(i) Technical – Based on information provided in each quote compared against the stated requirements as identified in the Statement of Objectives.

(ii) Presentation – Based proposed layouts, photos and links provided by each quote compared against other quotes received and the needs of the Marketing office.

(iii) Price – Broken down per CLIN, including an overall contract price.

The government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to seek clarification on information submitted or hold discussions, if in the government’s best interest.
