Description
This is a request for quotations for construction prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 and Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P4222Q0065. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-07 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/.
Project Description:
- Removal of existing latex paint and Mortar repair
- Painting: Once the surface has been prepared and dried properly the contractor will apply 1 coat of "coarse" Renosil paint. The finish coat will be the "fine" Renosil
All work to be performed in accordance with the provided Plans & Specification
Type of Contract: Construction, Firm Fixed Priced (FFP), Single Award Contract
Set-Aside: 100% small business set-aside procurement.
The NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is
$39.5 million.
In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated to Between $25,000 and $100,000.
General Wage Decision Number: VA20220168, Warren County, Virginia; Construction Type: Building
Period of Performance 60 days from notice to proceed
SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit: All interested contractors are encouraged to perform a site visit.
An organized site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday September 06, 2022 at 9:00 PM local time
