Description
This is a sources sought for W58RGZ-22-R-0153 Processor, Signal, DA, of the AH-64 Apache D/E Model Helicopter. Overhaul/Repair of this item requires that the contractor receive source approval from the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). Therefore, overhaul/repair can only be performed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an approved source. Currently, Honeywell (CAGE Code: 1M8L7) is the only known approved source for the inspection/overhaul.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (W58RG) ATTN: CCAM-ALA, Building 5303 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting research to identify potential sources having an interest in submitting a Source Approval Request to SRD.to become an approved source to overhaul/repair the Processor, Signal, DA, Part Number: 1209-2013-FA.

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: The Government requires that contractors be able overhaul/repair the Processor, Signal, DA, with Part Number: 1209-2013-FA, NSN: 1270-01-544-6370. The Processor, Signal, DA is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). No Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) has been identified for this requirement.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The contractor must have an approved Source Approval Request (SAR) by the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). Additional information on SAR process is located at https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/.
SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested businesses should email a statement demonstrating its intention to submit a Source Approval Request to provide the products/systems listed in this Technical Description. No phone or email solicitations with regards to the status of the RFP will be accepted prior to its release. Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Meagan Melton in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email Meagan.m.melton.civ@army.mil no later than the provided response date as referenced on https://sam.gov and reference this synopsis number in the subject line of the e-mail and on all enclosed documents. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. DO NOT SUBMIT CLASSIFIED MATERIAL. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide the required products/systems, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, primary points of contact (POCs) and their email address, Web site address, telephone number, and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) A brief statement confirming that you have an approved SAR. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.
