Description
Refurbishment of Bathrooms and Toilets Advert for a Residential Property for U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe: PR12582925
The Embassy of the United States in Harare has a requirement for a construction project as follows:
Refurbishment of bathrooms and toilets at one of its residential properties in Chisipite, Harare.
The project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $35,000 and shall be completed within 30 days from the Notice to Proceed.
The Embassy shall not pay any advance payment for this project. Final payments shall be made upon satisfactory completion of the project.
All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:
- Be able to understand written and spoken English;
- Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
- Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
- Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
- Meet all local insurance requirements;
- Have no adverse criminal record;
- Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States.
- Have the necessary organization, experience, and skills or the ability to obtain them.
- Have good experience and past performance records; and,
- Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work in accordance with this solicitation.
- Is qualified, and eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations.
The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference at the site, which will be held on September 13, 2024 at 10.00am (Harare time) at the U.S. Embassy residence in Chisipite, Harare. Interested offerors/quoters should request a copy of the solicitation document by completing the attached access request form and submit it to HarareGSOProcurement@state.gov by 1100hrs on 11 September, 2024.
