Description

The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Strategic Engagements, Fossil Energy(FE-26) plans to issue a purchase order for Global Carbon Capture and StorageInstitute (GCCSI) membership. Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute (GCCSI) accelerates the development, demonstration and deployment of carbon capture and storage(CCS) globally through its knowledge sharing activities, fact-based influentialadvice and advocacy, and work to create favorable conditions to implement CCS.

The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Global CarbonCapture and Storage Institute (GCCSI) through December 31, 2023. The award will be issued via other than full and open competition, only oneresponsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT; no solicitation is available for this requirement. If afirm believes DOE should not pursue this sole source procurement with theGlobal Carbon Capture and Storage Institute, then interested parties may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency NO LATER THAN15 days from posting date via e-mail to Ryan.Miller@hq.doe.gov. The writtenresponse must include a general statement for services indicated in thisannouncement and past performance client information for a similar product.

A determination by the Government to compete this proposed purchase orderbased upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of theGovernment. Information received will normally be considered solely for thepurpose of determining whether to conduct this requirement competitively in thefuture. No solicitation is available for this requirement.
