Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source, five-year BPA with one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Alliant Enterprises, LLC. The procurement is for Olympus BW-412T Endoscope Channel Cleaning Brushes. Alliant is the sole authorized distributor for this item. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7007. IAW VAAR 819.7007(b), sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns, the Contracting Officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Contracting Officer This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
