This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for proposal, but a survey to locate potential sources. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. (11) A. Objective:
To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation.
B. Salient Characteristics;
The Government requires workstation components that meet the Government’s minimum requirements:

1. One (1) CPU (Central Processing Unit) 64 cores 128 threads 256 megabytes (MB) L3 Cache 128 Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) 4.0 lanes.
2. One (1) RAM (Random Access Memory) one (1) terabyte (TB) of Double Data Rate Fourth Generation (DDR4) memory with PC4-25600 speed.
3. Four (4) GPUs (Graphic Processing Units) with 48 gigabytes (GB) Graphics Double Data Rate 6 (GDDR6) memory with 10,752 NVIDA Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) cores.
4. Two (2) Two (2) memory sharing bridges for the designated GPUs.
5. Two (2) PSU (Power Supply Unit) 4000 watt (W) equivalent Advanced Technology Extended (ATX) PSUs: two (2) of 2050W rated power with "Platinum" Efficiency rating.
6. Two (2) SSD (Solid State Drives) – Two (2) TB M.2 Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) 2.0, PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 V7 V-NAND three (3) bit Multi-level cell (MLC).
7. One (1) A PC case that can have two (2) ATX power supply units (the designated PSUs), eight (8) PCIe slots, and E-ATX size motherboard. Also, must contain entire water cooling system.
8. One (1) A motherboard that can accommodate the designated CPU, RAM, and GPU with stable performance.
9. One (1) A waterblock for the designated CPU.
10. Four (4) Waterblocks for the designated GPUs.
11. One (1) A high performance pump and reservoir that supports the designated CPU and GPUs. Also, they must fit to the case.
12. Three (3) Radiators to cool system components reliably for compatibility and performance.
13. One (1) Manifold that can accommodate the designated CPU and GPUs and connect them to the designated reservoirs.
14. One (1) Cooling System Loop Cleaner Concentrate (250 milliliters (ml)).

C. Responses:
All interested parties should notify this office in writing, mail, fax, or e-mail within the posted date. Responses shall include:
- To what extent each of the specifications can be met.
(II) Include your type of business (i.e. commercial, academia), whether your organization is classified as a large or small business based on the 1,250 employee size standard that accompanies NAICS code 334111.
