If you previously responded to the Sources Sought under solicitation number 12441923Q1001, please respond to this Sources Sought since the information is updated.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Interested CONTRACTORS are invited to submit information requested on the attached Source Sought 2024 (Contractor Information on Pages 6 & 7) and the Relevant Experience (Past Performance) Questionnaire document by 11AM Eastern Standard Time, June 25, 2024.

Responses shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer, David Mitchell at david.mitchell@usda.gov and the Contract Specialist, Tina Pettyjohn at Tina.Pettyjohn@usda.gov.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE with updated information, which was previous posted to SAM.gov under solicitation number 12441923Q1001.

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested sources especially small businesses including: 8(a) Certified Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone) Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), and Veteran Owned Small Businesses. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE.  Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this notice.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requested.

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is part of the market research step to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 541720 Archeological Research and Development Services.  Although the Government believes that this is the most appropriate NAICS for this project, offerors are permitted to propose under other NAICS that they feel may be applicable and the Government will evaluate its appropriateness accordingly.  The Small Business size standard is $28.0 M.  Work Will be performed on the National Forest Lands throughout the state of North Carolina. 

All work will be performed on the Croatan Ranger District on the coast of North Carolina.  The following documents are attached to this Sources Sought:
