Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract for NIDEC Avtron ADD32 Drive

The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville, FL. intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisitions Procedures to Nidec Industrial Solutions (NIS) , the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), for ADDvantage32 DC hardware product line service and repairs to the microprocessor-controlled cranes at Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, GA. This contract is for a base and four (4) option years. Base: 01Jan 2022-31 Dec 2022 Option 1: 01Jan 2023-31 Dec 2023 Option 2: 01Jan 2024-31 Dec 2024 Option 3: 01Jan 2025-31 Dec 2025 Option 4: 01Jan 2026-31 Dec 2026 Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by December 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. EST via email to kenneth.b.brown24.civ@us.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received by December 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. EST, the contract will be solicited without further notice. it is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a sole-source firm-fixed price contract with a Product Service Code (PSC)R425 and a NAICS of 811310 with a size standard of 8 million. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government that obtaining this service through a sole-source contract, then a sole-source acquisition will be made.
