Description

Solicitation N0042122Q0544 (attached) is issued as a brand name procurement. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basic and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis for Whelen Siren Amplifier with Hand-Held Controller, as listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13.  This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.

Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov.

NO SUBSTITUTIONS ACCEPTED – Items must be covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty. Vendor must be an Authorized Distributor/Reseller and must submit signed documentation verifying that they are an authorized distributor.  *MUST BE TAA COMPLIANT* OR *PROVIDE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN*

***Instruction to Offerors***
Solicitation closing date/time is firm. Quotes received after the deadline will not be accepted. Quotes must contain enough technical information (i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc.) for evaluation and  will only be evaluated based on the information provided. Award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. A determination by the Government not to accept the quote for not meeting the minimum requirement is based solely on the discretion of the Government.
