Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Western Acquisition Division (WAD) in Boulder, CO intends to award a hybrid Time-and-Materials and Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase order utilizing the policies and procedures of FAR Subpart 13.5. The Government intends to procure Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Support Services in the Alaska Region for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Regional Office (AKR) Protected Resource Division (PRD).
The planned Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 1305M323QNFFS0002. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 541940, Veterinary Services, which has a corresponding size standard of $9 million. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about October 17, 2022 on SAM.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue hard copy solicitations. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://sam.gov/content/home.
