Notice of Intent to Issue a Request for Proposal for the Job Order Contract

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS

The United States Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Job Order Contract (JOC) to support the US Army Garrison-Redstone (USAG-R) construction program.
This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with (IAW) Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS) Subpart 5117.9000, and, to the extent appropriate, the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 15 and 36.
This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236210 – Industrial Building Construction. This is a 100 percent Small Business 8(a) Set Aside.
Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to the submission of a proposal. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in SAM prior to the submission of a proposal will render the offeror ineligible for award. SAM registration requires applicants to have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. It is recommended that offers register for a DUNS number immediately to be eligible for timely award. The timeline for release of the RFP is provided below. All listed times are Central Standard Time.
