36k Forklift and 12k Telehandler

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N3904023Q0106. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-06 and DFARS Change 6/23/2022. • The NAICS code is 532490 and the Small Business Standard is $40,000,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation.

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following:

1. Base Rental of one (1) Forklift truck with a 30-36 ton lift capacity in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.
2. Option rental of one (1) Telehandler with a 12 ton lift capacity in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.

• Forklift PoP Base Year: 4/17/2023-4/16/2024
• Telehandler PoP: 12 individual weeks within 4/17/2023-4/16/2024. Option Periods will be defined upon exercising of the options. Prospective vendors would be advised of intent to exercise options at least within 30 days of doing so

PLEASE BE ADVISED - 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services

This solicitation includes FAR clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services, which may enable the Government to unilaterally extend the contract by a not to exceed (NTE) duration of 6 months. By submitting offers, vendors fully understand and are accepting the possibility for the extension of services at the originally quoted rate.

METHOD OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: Offers shall be emailed to Tom Fuller at thomas.g.fuller17.civ@us.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.

System for Award Management (SAM): Vendors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. All quotes shall include price(s), a point of contact, name, email address, phone/email, CAGE Code, technical specifications of units offered (including brand), business size under the NAICS Code, and payment terms. At a minimum, quotes shall contain the completed RFQ form. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the vendor to meet all specifications and requirements.
