Description

AMENDMENT 3: Updating solicitation to post Vendor Questions and Government Answers (Q&A).  See attached Q&A and Solicitation Amendment 3 for additional details reflecting changes.

The Health Readiness Contract Office (HRCO) has a requirement from the Force Integration Directorate (FID) under the United States Army Medical Development Activity (USAMMDA) to award field medical Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKO) supply acquisition. The general scope of this requirement is to procure SKO components; label, assemble, and package procured components into the approved listed USAMMDA SKO configurations with limited or no deviation, unless expressly concurred by the Government. Army Regulation 40-61 (AR 40-61), Medical Logistics Policies, Chapter 10 Managing Medical Assemblages, lists out Medical, Veterinary, Dental, Optical, Laboratory equipment, Medical materiel, Dental, and Preventive medicine materiel within the SKOs. The resultant contracts will provide SKO support to the Army medical units for Contiguous Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous Continental United States (OCONUS).  This SKO solicitation is being issued as full and open competition in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.1 – Full and Open Competition, using commercial procedures IAW guidance provided in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 – Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing.  *****ALL QUESTIONS NEED TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 14 MAY 2024 in word document with every questioned must be numbered; email to Mr. Harris Brown @ harris.s.brown.civ@health.mil and Mr. David Libby @ david.j.libby.civ@health.mil. *****
