Description

AMENDMENT 05 - Is being entered to extend the offer due date.

AMENDMENT 04 - Is being enteded for clarification.  See Amendment 04 attached.

AMENDMENT 03  - Is being entered to correct Past Performance Questionaire Due date.  See Amendment 03 attachment.

AMENDMENT 02 -  Is being entered to also provide drawings for Lab#128 and Lab #129..  And also to answer question.

AMENDMENT 01- Is being entered to provide drawings AND correct L.9 (c) of the Clauses and Provisions as follows:  (c) In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction requirement is $1,000,000 to 5,000,000.   Please see amendment 01 attachments for drawings..

This is a Request for Proposal for construction services.  

The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service, Southeastern Fruit, and Tree Nut Research Laboratory (SEFTNRL), located in Byron, GA., has a requirement to renovate 15 laboratories that will ultimately standardize and enhance research capabilities (depending on the availability of funds).  The work includes but is not limited to:  The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, professional services, and supervision necessary to renovate 4 laboratories with options to renovate 11 additional laboratories.  The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and cost breakdown for the entire project.

The solicitation number is 12405B24R0013 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP).  The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M.  Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement.  During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal.  You can register on- line at www.sam.gov.  If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information.
