Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST's) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) works as a catalyst to strengthen American manufacturing. Through a nationwide network of MEP Centers, MEP provides manufacturers with access to a wealth of tools, techniques and other resources. With services ranging from innovation strategies to process improvements to the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, MEP offers tools, solutions and resources to
address manufacturers’ diverse challenges and opportunities.
To support the mission of the MEP, the Program Evaluation and Economic Research (PEER) Group seeks to purchase licenses to access product and industry global market information tools to enhance the MEP National Network’s market analysis capabilities by providing hard to come by product and industry market data that covers both domestic and international markets. The web-based software/tool should cover all major industries, including manufacturing, as well as major product categories. The data should be from reputable sources and should be updated regularly. Market data is required, such as sales, revenue, output (volume), and market share.
