89--RFI OPTION - Detainee Meals

AMENDMENT NOTICE: This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is intended for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quote, or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice.

The Notice ID is RFI_1151767 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The SSN/RFI document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 311999 with a small business size standard of 700.00 employees.

This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified sellers may submit bids.

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified business sources; (2) insight into delivery of meals (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 311999-All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.

The contract will provide meals on a daily basis to the Atlanta Field Office. The government will place one order, via telephone, per day between the hours of 7:30 am and 9am and the vendor must be available to accept the order during these hours. The vendor must provide complete delivery, no more than two hours after the order is placed. The contractor shall expect a minimum amount and shall be available if more meals are required due to circumstances. The vendor must be available to deliver orders, Monday through Friday 11:00am-1:30pm.
