Description

The VAMC West Haven CT intends to award on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 8/16. This requirement will include the provision of Rubidium-82 Generators to the West Haven VA. Salient Characteristics The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, travel and transportation necessary to supply rubidium-82 generators to the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Connecticut Healthcare System located at 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516. The generator must be delivered directly to the PET Imaging department located on the sub-ground floor of building one, room SG114. Vendor will provide: Delivery of a rubidium generator on a 28 day cycle equivalent to approximately 13 generators per year. Specific delivery dates and times may be adjusted based on decay time or if changes in availability of rubidium generators arise. A monthly lease of an infusion cart in which the generator is housed. Monthly infusion cart tubing kit and a box of 25 patient infusion sets Provide yearly required training and ongoing support to technologists on the use and QC testing of the generator Provide the paperwork to return expired rubidium generators for disposal Maintenance and service of infusion system/cart as needed, in accordance with manufacturer s Terms of Service, throughout the contract period. This Special Notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than October 15, 2024. Responses should be sent to Jerry.Choinski@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
