Project No. AJJY 22-1031, Renovate Air Traffic Control Tower B-18015, AAFB, Guam

PROPOSAL DUE DATE & TIME:

Date: Wednesday, 22 September 2022

Time: 0900 (ChST) as indicated in SF 1442

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The contractor shall provide multiple repairs which include demolition and construction for renovation of Air Traffic Control Tower B18015. The work includes removing all existing unused appurtenances from the old oxygen generating equipment such as concrete pads, electrical/mechanical equipment, and other related items. The work also includes the removal of carpet in each office and for it to be replaced with ceramic tile floors. Elevator shall be replaced 1 for 1. The work requires the elevator to be the same type and size cab that shall fit into the existing shaft with no structural modifications. No additional stops or landings will be added. The work also includes HVAC and investigation of the drainage of the clear water rinse at the 15th floor. This will connect to the existing condensate riser.

RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS:

This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million.

NOTICE TO OFFERORS:

Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing of receipt of Bids.
