Amendment 001

The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to allow an additional week to address the
questions and answers which will be posted as a separate document on 6/14 or 6/15.


The due date for the bids is changed from 6/16/2022 at 14:00 EST to 6/23/2022 at 14:00 EST.

The Conneautville Dam is in the Borough of Conneautville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.  Conneautville Dam is owned and operated by the Borough of Conneautville.

The objectives of the project are to implement the established design for rehabilitation to rehabilitate the dam to meet or exceed state and federal dam safety criteria, and to maintain the current level of flood protection provided by Conneautville Dam.   

The rehabilitation construction requires realignment of auxiliary spillway channel and expansion of the training dike; installation of a sheetpile wall along the left side of the auxiliary spillway; lime treatment of surficial dispersive soils on the embankment, auxiliary spillway, and training dike; reconfiguration of the 8-inch diameter embankment drain pipes in the vicinity of the principal spillway impact basin; construction of a filter diaphragm below the existing principal spillway outlet conduit; and replacement of the existing trash rack installed on the inlet structure.
