Description

The Facilities Engineering & Acquisition Division NAVFAC EURAFCENT, Public Works Department, Souda Bay is seeking to identify companies with the capacity, experience, and interest in competing for an Electrical Substation Repairs (Design-Build) Project. This project will repair electrical distribution substations at NAVSUPPACT Souda Bay by replacing six (6) substations and one (1) Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear which are approaching the end of their service life. The project includes replacement of existing substation ring main units (RMUs), transformers and secondary circuit breaker cabinet combination. New dry-type transformers, MV & LV switches, outdoor enclosures, Capacitor Banks, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters and reconfiguration of existing AMI meters shall be provided. This project will also replace Medium Voltage (MV) wiring throughout the installation distribution network. All new equipment will be installed at the location of the prior equipment. New layout is to be designed to incorporate existing civil infrastructure, low voltage wiring to Facilities, and grounding system to the maximum extent possible. A provision for temporary backup power may be required.
