Notice of Intent- Hotel Rooms

This is a Special Notice.  The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Comfort Inn, for hotel rooms.

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government’s requirement detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.  The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order.  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures”.  A redacted version of the approved Limited Sources Documentation will be posted 14 days after award.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 721110.  The business size standard is $35,000,000.  The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation.  A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. 

Closing date for submitting a capability statement is January 3, 2023 @ 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time.  All submissions should be submitted electronically to Lori.A.Love@dea.gov.
