Intent to Sole Source Fictional Intelligence Field Manual Stories

US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, on behalf of Office of the Chief of Staff, Army (OCSA), intends to award a contract on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition at 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.301-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Useful Fiction, LLc, to produce short stories for use in the Operations Field Manual 3-0 using their trademarked service Fictional Intelligence.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or competitive quotations.

Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notification will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interests of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
