Tactical Operational Flight Trainers Follow-On

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA has awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Strike Fighter Consulting, 5201 E Giftedview Dr Coeur D Alene, ID 83814 with a period of performance of 5 years. The contract value is $6,953,331.20.  This follow-on contract will include procurement of services for test planning, development testing, test evaluation, training support, and travel to other sites, to support the technical development of the F/A-18 and EA-18G Tactical Operational Flight Trainer (TOFT). The contractor’s services include participation in test planning, test conducting, and test reporting of new TOFT and F/A-18 Operational Flight Program software, as well as training of local and fleet aircrew in new systems as they are incorporated into the TOFT. The contractor shall support project planning with preparation of project plans, schedules, cost estimating, and risk analyses for TOFT upgrade paths. Performance of these services requires a breadth of experience in the area of F/A-18 Operational Test, F/A-18 Developmental Test, and the software based TOFT.
