Intent to Sole Source - Audio Frequency Amplifiers

In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Dynalec for Audio Frequency Amplifiers.

The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, Intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Dynalec, 87 West Main Street, PO Box 188, Sodus, NY 14551. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Dynalec is the source capable of providing the required Audio Frequency Amplifiers. The equipment being purchased is used to support Shipboard Alarm & Announcing System on various cutter platforms. This hardware is proprietary and there is only one authorized retailer -Dynalec.
Description of Supplies and Services:

This requirement is to procure a qty of 5 Audio Frequency Amplifiers. The manufacturer part number is: AM-2321/SIA or 60526. 

All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 12:00 p.m. EDT on 19 September 2022. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Ann.m.leuters@uscg.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
