Description

Amendment 001

The purpose of Amendment 001 is to answer Requests for Information from Industry.

Question: Will role players be allowed to park in vicinity of 11450 Nadine Petersen Boulevard or will the contractor be responsible for transporting them from an offsite parking location?

Answer:  The area there is unimproved and does not have parking alongside the road or at the site. Role Players will need to be bussed over from the staging area with us at Clark County Armory.

Question: Regarding the requirement to provide copies of EMS certifications for the 4 ambulance personnel: Most service providers do not schedule personnel until after there is a binding contract between the Offeror and service provider, therefore making it extremely difficult for the Offeror to provide copies of EMS certifications. Additionally, most service providers will not furnish this information to an Offeror because copies of these certifications contain personally identifiable information (PII), which is sensitive and non-disclosable without the consent of each individual. The Contractor recommends removing this restrictive requirement from the solicitation.

Answer: The Contractor will not be required to furnish EMS certifications with the submission of their quote.

Question: Item D of the Instructions to Offerors states: “Provide role players prior experience and past performance reviews as part of your proposal.  Provide SCVCS Support Details.” Two RFIs: (1.) Is this a requirement to provide the prior experience of individual role players?, (2.) Is this a requirement to provide details of the SCVCS support the Contractor has provided for previous CERFP/HRF exercises?

Answer: Only the contractor’s previous role player exercises will be reviewed.

Question: The PWS lists the labor date requirements for the Chemical Simulant Tech as 27FEB25 – 02MAR25. Is the customer’s intent to use chemical simulant services a day before and after the exercise for pre-training and retraining to make the total requirement of (4) labor days or are chemical simulant services only needed during the exercise for a total labor requirement of (2) days?

Answer: Chemical simulant services are only required for 2 days.
