Description

The work includes all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidental related work to demolish three existing bulk tanks and associated piping in the bulk tank area at NSA Cutler in Cutler, Maine. It also includes the demo of the four transient fuel tanks and their corresponding dog houses covering the utility pits. A total of four new 50,000 gal tanks will be installed in the existing bulk tank area and four 20,000 gal tanks will be installed in the transient fuel area. There are 11 bid options. Bid option 1: Includes the demo of the bulk tank berm oil water separator. Bid option 2: Includes providing a 6 inch concrete slab on abandoned bulk tank foundation. Bid option 3: Includes the demo of cantilevered concrete pan at transient tank dog house. Bid option 4: Includes providing a reinforced membrane waterproofing system to building. Bid option 5: Includes providing concrete repairs inside transient utility tunnel - Crack Injection. Bid option 6: Includes providing concrete repairs inside transient utility tunnel - Type B Spall. Bid option 7: Includes painting the bulk fuel tank support pipes. Bid option 8: Includes mill and overlay of roadways around project area. Bid option 9: Includes Fuel oil delivery and tank filling upon completion of Phase 2. Bid option 10: Includes on site temporary fuel storage for fuel oil removed as part of Phase 2. Bid option 11: provides for the installation of bollards for transient tank parking lot.
