Description
RFP No. 1605AE-24-R-00005 || Renovate the Male Dormitory Building 54, Potomac Job Corps Center in Washington, DC
The work includes services for design and construction for renovation work in Building 54, Male Dormitory facility at the Potomac Job Corps Center. The work includes, but is not limited to, design, demolition, construction for interior renovations of the 1st and 2nd floors including wall, ceiling and flooring replacements and repairs; painting; door replacement; elevator repair, certification and permitting; plumbing and electrical system repairs and replacements inclusive of new fire alarm and sprinkler systems, mechanical system replacements; and attic insulation replacements. The work also involves, HVAC system replacement and duct cleaning, plumbing upgrades, domestic hot water systems replacement, fire alarms replacement, electrical systems and security systems upgrades and repairs to the existing elevator cab and equipment and renovation to the exterior stairwells as well as roof soffit vents/panels repair.
In accordance with FAR 19.8, this requirement is being procured as an 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside. The NAICS for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45 Million.
An organized pre-proposal conference and site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM Eastern. Attendees will meet at the Potomac Job Corps Center, 1 DC Village Ln SW, Washington, DC 20032.
RFP questions are due by October 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM Eastern. Proposals are due by 10/16/2024 at 2:00 PM Eastern
