Roundtable Purpose:
- Identification of strategies to effectively incorporate GenAI
- Informed awareness on how GenAI platforms can enhance operations
- Knowledge exchange and learning networks established with industry and academia
Topics:
- Everyday GenAI & Game-Changing GenAI
- Responsible GenAI
- Agile Approaches to GenAI Adoption

The POC for submissions is Theresa L. Terry, theresa.terry.1@us.af.mil, 571-256-0442.
The government will review the submissions and contact selected organizations to participate in its respective roundtable group.
The following questions will guide written responses and verbal discussions:
- Everyday GenAI & Game-Changing GenAI
- Everyday GenAI is focused on productivity and Game-Changing GenAI is focused primarily on creativity. How can we leverage GenAI right now to improve intelligence, operational planning, administrative, business processes, etc? What GenAI will be disruptive and create new ways or new results? What metrics or success indicators should be used to evaluate the effectiveness of GenAI applications in these areas?
- Responsible GenAI
- Responsible AI is defined by the DoD as responsible, equitable, traceable, reliable, and governable. How does GenAI challenge those definitions? What policy recommendations and future directions should be considered for leveraging GenAI responsibly? What are the benefits and risks associated with GenAI? How is your organization managing these risks?
- Agile Approaches to GenAI Adoption
- Agile, user-focused, product-centric development is essential to achieving our goals because humans and machines will work together in the responsible, effective employment of GenAI-enabled capabilities. What are the best practices for adopting GenAI within an organization? Are there successes you can share from your experience with deploying GenAI capabilities? What challenges have organizations faced when scaling GenAI, and how were these overcome? What methodologies are most effective for designing GenAI systems tailored to specific operational needs?
- Training
- The Department’s ability to oversee and adopt GenAI capabilities depends on the strength of its workforce, and continued growth in technical skills. How can we empower Airmen and Guardians with the skills and competencies needed to utilize GenAI effectively? What foundational skills should be prioritized in GenAI training programs? What training will be most useful for non-technical users and consumers of GenAI? How can training be designed to stay relevant in the fast-evolving field of GenAI? What partnerships or resources can be leveraged to enhance GenAI education and training?
Selected respondents will be notified at least two (2) business days in advance. Each selected organization are allowed no more than one (1) attendees.
