Also being asked, for budgeting purposes only, is the cost to complete the punch list items for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Roosevelt Field, as outlined in the SOW. 

SITE VISIT

Organized site visits are scheduled for Friday, February 4, 2022 and Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST, to allow Industry to understand current site conditions. Interested contractors shall submit the names of the personnel and subcontractors, including company names, who will be attending to emmanuel.riddle.ctr@dot.gov and juebiline.mbandi@dot.gov no later than Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM EST. The subject line shall include: “Site Visit Request: RFQ 693JF7-22-RFI-0002”.

**Attendees will need a valid ID or Driver’s License (if driving) to access the academy. All attendees will meet in Public Works Building upon arrival, and wait until further instructed** Attendees must follow COVID 19 guidelines.

This is a Request for Information (RFI) only, and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Any information submitted in response to this RFI is strictly voluntary.  This RFI is issued for the purpose of determining market interest, feasibility, and capability of sources.  There is no solicitation package available. 

Department of Transportation/Maritime Administration (Academy) seeks to identify interested sources from industry for the establishment of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to finish punch list items on the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Roosevelt Field located at 300 Steamboat Rd, Kings Point, NY 11024 , and bring the project to completion. The contractor shall provide initial schedule no later than seven days after award.  An earlier schedule is acceptable to the Academy. The period of performance is 180 days after receipt of award.

The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this RFI nor will it compensate any respondent for costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.

To expedite our review of any submittals, please keep responses to a maximum of four (4) pages in length, 12-point font. While the limit on the length of submissions is four pages, please provide concise, and specific information regarding your ability to provide the desired services.
