Follow-on Database Support on Terrorist and Serious Criminal Attacks against Public Surface Transportation

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for Contractor database support on terrorist and serious criminal attacks against public surface transportation. The Contractor’s primary mission is to ensure that the database is WEB accessible to government entities. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to San Jose State University Research Foundation, 210 4th St 4th Floor, San Jose, CA 95112. This contract will address the requirements of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA) to update the database on terrorist and serious criminal attacks against public surface transportation. 

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
